Peterbilt 386
The 386 isn’t your daily driver, it’s the commercial truck that professional commercial drivers use. Peterbilt’s trucks are normally preferred by drivers over International Trucks, but they especially enjoy the Peterbilt 386 and most were glad after the 386 model was release.
The 386 has the control to maneuver 1000s of lbs of cargo easily. Whether that load be oil or appliances, reefer or van, going from Lakeview to New Martinsville or Wichita to Sedona, AZ, it can do it all. When you want to nap there should be more than adequate space in the sleeper, unless it is a day cab. That brings me to the point that not all 386 trucks are the same.
